We set up Centre Paws Ltd, formerly known as Katy's K9 Care, in 2015 to provide an incredible experience for dogs and owners. From small beginnings, we’ve added a different range of services, making us different from other Dog Day Care/Walking businesses in Wirral. While we’re proud of our fun and easy going attitude, our commitment to the safety and security of your pet guides everything we do.

GROOMING

A Stress-Free Experience

Your pet’s happiness is our number one priority. During this service, we learn what they like and dislike and always treat them with kindness and patience. We offer a variety of grooming services and offer a Sunday bathing service with Sophie.

DOG DAY CARE/PLAY SESSION

Plenty of Love and Attention

Dog day care is one of our most popular services, especially for repeat clients. We pride ourselves on our professional yet fun approach, and do everything necessary to ensure your pets are safe, secure and happy. Based in an outdoor environment, we are Wirrals first and only licensed outdoor facility. We have many different areas for dogs to explore, with cozy resting huts, play apparatus, bouncy castle, agility equipment and our very own dog swimming pool.

We are open for Day care from from 7.15 am to 6 pm. We can offer some flexibility on drop off and collection times, meaning you choose how long your dog stays with us, although we ask all dogs to be with us by 10.30 am.

Dog day care, is £26 a full day and £18 for half a day. Half day care dogs are to be collected no later than 1pm.

Our Play session is similar to day care but includes a collection and drop off service. This is an ideal solution if you are not able to get to us. We start our collections from 9 am and all dogs are home between 1 and 3 pm. Your dog will be be in our care 3 to 4 hours. In the summer months we may start collections earlier to avoid the afternoon temperatures. For this service, we do hold keys if you're not likely to be home.

The Play session is £22.

DOG PARK HIRE

The Best for Your Pet

If you are looking for an off lead enclosed area to exercise your dog. We have the perfect area to excerise your dog.

Our dog park is still undergoing some changes with new equipment being aadded. It is a decent sized grassy paddock with climbing and play apparatus. One part of the paddock is kept free of equipment, leaving it a nice space to practice some training techniques. There is also a picnic bench and water butt and bowl.

Coming very soon to the paddock, is a poly tunnel for shelter and an onsite portable toilet. Updates can be found on our social media pages.

Our second area is a clean area laid with astro turf. Here, dogs will enjoy the ball pit, climbing frames, caterpillar tunnel, swimming pool, splash paddling pool and sprinkler systems. This area is bursting with lots of water fun and known as Splash Paws through the summer months. During winter it will return to a no mud play area..

SPLASH PAWS

A splashing time

Splash paws is our swimming and Aqua park area for dogs. Dogs love having a splashing time, swimming and playing. Here you will find different sized swimming pools, catering for all sizes and ability.

Splash Paws is open now and ready for your booking.

(we have very limited availability for hire of this area due to our day care dogs having access during the week)

Price for just the Splash Zone (not including use of the large swimming pool) is currently £15 per hour for up to 2 dogs, and £5 each dog after, which is payable on arrival. If you wish to use the large pool an adult must be present in the pool. This is an extra cost of 1 dog =£10, 2 dogs = £17,

3 dogs =£23, 4 dogs = £28.

We do not offer swimming lessons. It is a fun swim session only.

WHAT ELSE?

Centre Paws is also home to Bethan's Ark animal sanctuary. Here we look after many animals including Ponies, a pig, Chickens and ducks, Cats and lots of rabbits. We often hold a range of events through out the year and we have lots and lots planned for the new year ahead, including a new outdoor seating area and cafe for visiting guests of the dog park or just to see our rescue animals.
